Sure, I could get out the old dusty Crotchety Crocker, but I’ve never been any good at measurements. Also, I am not a fan of getting my hands messy. Sure, I could also just buy some of that pre-made stuff that comes in a tube, but I always end up burning it. What can I say, I don’t know how to bake; and to be honest I really don’t care to learn. That’s why I’m really glad it’s easy to just throw some money at the situation. But don’t get me wrong; I want to get the best price for my sugar.

When I am invited to someone’s house, or I have guests coming over, I like to bring cookies. However, I don’t want to go through the painstaking effort of gooey goodness. This is why I turn to my favorite cookie companies to help me out. One of my absolute favorites is Peggy’s Biscotti, which is a delicious crunchy Italian cookie. They are totally different, and totally delicious! Dear Peggy offers 37 unique flavors of biscotti and makes them all herself. Bless her baker’s heart. You can order them individually, by the dozen, or in eight piece bags. She even makes cute biscotti gifts baskets and has a biscotti of the month club you can join! And you will never believe the best part. She has found a way to make low-carb and even organic biscottis! I am in heaven!

If you miss your own mother’s cookies, then you might wan to borrow Tom’s Mom’s cookies to ease the pain. I don’t know who Tom is, nor his mother for that matter, and I could really care less. The enigmatic mother figure makes the best cookies. The cookie, like their website is simple, which is better. Sometimes you just want a good old fashioned chocolate chip cookie. I know I sure do. Tom’s Mom’s list isn’t too extensive, offering just 16 varieties, but they’ve got all your favorites and even some unique flavors like white chocolate with dried cherries. Delish! You have to order at least two dozen to ship, but after tasting these gems, that won’t be too hard to do.

If what you’re looking for is consistency, reliability and name brand, then you can never go wrong with my favorite lady, Mrs. Fields, who never lets me down. You can order regular cookies, “nibblers,” decorated cookie cakes, and special gift baskets. The best part is, there are several locations, so you can go taste them, or pick them up yourself! Just visit the site and find a location near you.
